I want to highlight a very special member of Squamish Wellness today. Kim and I have known each other for a couple of years now, and our paths were definitely meant to cross. She’s an extremely talented practitioner in our community and someone I have come to know and love as a friend. That is one of the single handed largest blessings of having taken ownership over this online community. I get to go into the businesses of our local practitioners and learn about what they have to offer to our community, learn of their pains and gains of running a successful practice, and then help them grow and spread the word, but also get to know them on a personal level.
Kim is currently on a trip in Thailand climbing, yoga retreating, paddling, adventuring, and filling her cup with a wonderful cultural experience. She lives in Squamish because she loves the outdoors and when she’s not helping people fix their tired and aching bodies, or offering them a sacred escape at her studio treatment room in downtown Squamish, you will often find her dining in our local restaurants, and getting into the heart of our community to meet people and support local business.
I have been for many a sessions with Kim and can speak from personal experience about her ability to really help me push that reset button when Im on her table. She uses a variety of aromatherapy oils from Heidi Nielsen’s collection at Nature to Nurture Aromatherapy to help you achieve whatever your intention is when you walk through her doors. You can tell from her touch that she has a ton of knowledge and skill, and you know that from the moment you walk through the door and see her achievements and literature on her walls, as well as the questions she asks, and the ambience she’s created for your treatment experience. And I love that her property backs out onto this beautiful green space, so you really feel like you’re on a wellness retreat.

And while you’re at it, don’t forget to head over to her facebook page to show her some love and share her talent with your friends and family!
